Home Sweet Idaho

We made it! After 18 hours or so of driving we finally made it to our new place in Idaho and it is BEAUTIFUL! I love it! But let me tell you, when we got here on Wednesday, I was CRANKY! Why you ask? Because our heater would not work! Yes, 4 degrees outside and the place I am supposed to spend majority of my time has NO heat. I was not happy. But, thankfully, after about 26 hours it was fixed! And now I am even more in love with our beautiful townhouse because it is also warm! We are already unpacked with pictures on the walls, we found a couch and a new mattress - its been a busy few days.

We've also learned a lot in this freezing weather like...

What olive oil looks like when it freezes

And what dish soap looks like when it freezes

Also that when people say if a can of soda freezes it will explode, its true...and if it freezes and explodes in your car it will set off your car alarm at 4am!

Well, besides unpacking, battling with our heater and getting a lesson in exploding diet Pepsi, we drove up to the campus to get my BYU ID, visited Nathan's old boss from Arby's to officially get his job back, and have spent some time with Danie and Cory before they go back to warm Arizona. We're so glad Danie's wonderful mom Sally lives right down the street from us! We've had dinner at her house all 3 nights we've been here and she's cut Nathan's hair already. We'll adopt her as "Mom" while we are so far from our own moms! We're so glad to have her as a neighbor!

I am so in love with our new place but its late and I'm ready to crawl into bed...so pictures of our awesome new place to come shortly!

Here's some pics from the road!

"Drive Hammered Get Nailed"
Get nailed? Nathan thought it sounded like a pretty good deal (;

Drove through Vegas to avoid snowy, curvy mountain roads

On Tuesday we drove to Salt Lake City and spent the night with my Grandpa
and FINALLY made it to Idaho Wednesday morning <3
